The Academy is situated at 18 from Nagpur on Nagpur Amravati National Highway. The premises is spread over 81 acres of land owned by the organisation. The infrastructure available at NAPES is Administrative Building, 5 testing Buildings for testing of various explosives and packages, safety fittings of petroleum tankers etc., 2 explosives samples storage magazines, 1 big store house building, fire tender shed and protected area for blasting of explosives.
The Academy Building consists of 4 lecture halls for max. 60 candidates’ batch size in each hall. One reception cum lobby, one seminar hall and one conference room, 10 rooms for Jt. Chief Controller of Explosives, Dy. .Chief Controller of Explosives, Controller, Dy. Controller rooms and Guest faculties. One Hall for Staff, Record Room, Store Room, Dining Hall and Librarary and other essential amenities.
The Academy building is constructed in 5000 Sq. Ft. carpet area each at Ground Floor, First Floor and Second Floor.Â
A trainee Hostel is fully equipped for staying of trainee officers, trainers, staffs, competent persons, other trainees. In the Trainee hostel, 14 twin sharing rooms are available. 2 Type IV Quarters, 4 Type III Quarters, 12 type II Quarters and 8 type I Quarters with play ground are also available in this premises. The entire premises is provided with 2 meter high boundary wall.
Utilities in the Premises: One 66 KVA electric sub-station, one over head tank of 50 LK capacity, 2 bore wells and 1 well, Internal tar Roads with electrification, internet facilities, round the clock security and garden maintenance team.
